Test Matrix
After finishing off my website in Dreamweaver, one test I had to carry out after uploading my website to one.com was to do a test matrix. A test matrix allows you to check if every page on your website is fully functional and the user does not reach a 'dead end' when clicking on a link or button. My test matrix is below.
Meta Tags!
Meta tags are part of your websites HTML coding and they are typically found in the 'head' section. It tells search engines the relevant information for the content of your website.
The meta tags for my website are,
"keywords" - "Robin Fame Williams, You Found Fame, UK Hip-Hop Artist"
"description" - "Robin Fame Williams, UK Hip-Hop Artist, Lyricist, Live Sound Engineer"

Embedding My Videos and Pictures
For my website be able to have images that are on a loop and videos that have a pop out player, I used two programs called Visual JavaScript Slideshow and VideoLightBox that were free to download. There programs that allow you to import content into them and select templates and once select 'Publish' you can then simply copy and paste the HTML coding straight into your website.

Why want two navigation bars?
Why want two navigation bars on one webpage? Well I'll tell you why, the reasons why I chose to have one main navigation bar at the top of my webpage and a secondary one at the bottom was because instead of the user scrolling all the way to the top of the page to access new content on another page, they can straight away access it, once they reach the bottom of the page using the secondary one. Is well I didn't want to apply an 'anchor' that takes you from the bottom of the page to the navigation bar at the top because it don't seem as professional as having a secondary navigation bar.
The Fame Feed
On my home page I embedded my live twitter feed keeping my fans up to date on what mischief I'm getting up to. If I send a tweet on twitter from a mobile device it will automatically be updated on my home page without me having to manually update the HTML coding. An example of the twitter feed is below.
No Flash for Now!
The reason why I chose not to make a Flash banner was because I didn't feel like it would suit the look of my website at this moment in time and I believe it would take all the attention away from the rest of my websites content. Flash can benefit by promoting the aim of the website and help with self-promotion but for now I believe what I've included in my website promotes me to my fullest and I'm not completely ruling out the use of Flash in the near future.
